Nikolaus Gansterer, Translecture / Sequence 1, 2014

Translecture / Sequence 1 (About the impossibility of objective perception per se), 2014, is our second feature of work by Vienna and Berlin based artist Nikolaus Gansterer (born 1974; Klosterneuburg, Austria). Existing at the intersection of art and science, the  Translectures series serves as a platform for the artist to stage his on-going research through presentation rather than re-presentation. In Translecture / Sequence 1, Gansterer produces time-based chalk drawings, models, and diagrams that explore the materialization of thought and complexity of speculative knowledge.
