Caleb Wood is an emerging experimental animator based in Minnesota, whose practice, which is rooted in wide-ranging influences and collaboration, reflects his dedication to a global vibrant community of contemporary animators. Wood created ANON MATION, 2016, by inviting users in an online drawing chatroom to create time-lapse screen recordings, which he later compiled. The animation was made for the 2016 Late Night Work Club anthology, Strangers. Additional collaborative projects include Swap Meet, 2015, for which fourteen animators created backgrounds that were then added to by other participants.
