“The Architect” is an animated silent film, from an original script, by Marc Bauer with music specially composed and performed by the French rock band Kafka. Opening with quotes from the film Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des grauens (1922) by F. W. Murnau, “The Architect” takes the viewer to Berlin of 1922 where, at the premier of Nosferatu, a boy who is frightened by the images in the film experiences a vision of the Second World War and its consequences.
