For the next month, we’ll highlight a series of animated drawings done in graphite by a selection of internationally recognized artists. Ranging from quick gestures to more elaborate narratives, all of the films feature hand-drawn imagery at their foundation. Here are select animations by Ciprian Muresan a Romanian artist whose simple, repeating gestures often allude, albeit obliquely, to the political and social restructuring of his native country.
